FILTRATION

Dal Cin products for filtration are widely used, they are particularly effective in solving the problems of filtration in all areas of chemistry and industry. The same products are also suitable for the filtration of “edible oils” because they comply with the regulations concerning material in contact with food.

PRECOAT FILTER MEDIA

In the precoat filtration Dal Cin offers a wide range of solutions, all based on pure cellulose of different plant origin, and diatomaceous earth or perlite selected for the purpose. These products are suitable for solid/liquid separation, both for polar and not polar liquids.

Predispersed™ precoat

In 1983, Dal Cin has developed and patented an industrial process for producing a particular cellulose fiber in the hydrated state (pre-dispersed^™) which increases the specific surface area of the product up to 25m²/g, reaching very high levels of retention. The specialty “pre-dispersed” are used in the filtration of polar liquids (water, alcohols, polar organic solvents).

The areas of chemistry where the application of pre-dispersed ^Fitofloc® is giving the best results are as follows:
